A Matter of Loaf or Death

Excellent story. Very evocative with great characters set just before the start of WW2. It captures both the camaraderie and gossip of a small northern town and the impending doom of the encroaching war, really enjoyed this.
Hopefully there will be a sequel.

Excellent read.. !!!! Love the characters and the very intriguing story line… let’s hope there is a second book as I can’t bear it ending the way it did… too many questions that need answering..

I didn’t enjoy the read of this book, very repetitive and dry. I would not recommend it to anyone. I also found it very confusing.
