Black Bob – Coal Dust & Complications
Black Bob is exactly what the village expects him to be — until he isn’t.
Pit dust in the seams. Rough hands. A reputation for gossip and gambling. But look closer and there’s something else.
Loyalty.
Memory.
And a deep sense of pride.
Bob carries his past openly — in his clothes, in his temper, in the way he defends those who matter. He is quick to square up and quicker to laugh when pride is bruised.
He may not polish easily, but he is not without shine.
Sometimes the loudest man in the room is hiding something softer underneath the soot.
